Founded in April 2005, Alphi Chi Epsilon's mission is to serve the community and further the cause of Christ while forming lasting friendships. AXE is the newest fraternity on campus; nevertheless, its members are widely recognized as leaders in community service, Christian outreach, and OBU athletics.
OBU senior Lance Goodwin, the current president of AXE, recently received an All-American Athlete Award. This semester he had the pleasure of welcoming Ethan Linscott and Ben Reed as the newest members of Alphi Chi Epsilon.
Dr. Tony Litherland Racquetball Tournament Champion
Alpha Chi's annual racquetball tournament completed its final round today and crowned the illustrious Dr. Tony Litherland as the returning champion.* Litherland has won the honor for 3 years running, and shows no signs of slowing.
We'd like to say "Thank you" to our champion and all of the brave men and women who took part in the tournament as well as their supporters; as always, you made it all possible.
We are looking forward to the anticipated tournament of Fall 2010 where we hope to see Dr. Litherland again taking on the students of OBU.
*Litherland was not actually given a crown
