Founded in April 2005, Alphi Chi Epsilon's mission is to serve the community while forming lasting friendships. AXE is the newest fraternity on campus; nevertheless, its members are widely recognized as leaders in community service and Christian outreach.
OBU senior Lance Goodwin, the current president of AXE, recently received an All-American Athlete Award. This semester he had the pleasure of welcoming Ethan Linscott as the newest member of Alphi Chi Epsilon.
A calendar of events has been posted detailing club activities and service projects. AXE members are encouraged to use the link on the right to register. You may choose to receive an e-mail notifying you of new developments on this web site as well as upcoming events.
I am trying to decide whether to use a "wiki" or a forum to help orient potential pledges to both frats in general and to AXE in particular. A wiki is a site that, like Wikipedia, lets any member edit and add articles. Forums, as you probably know, are places to post discussions. I am leaning toward a forum type area on the site where you all could post info that would be helpful for students interested in AXE. In turn, the non-members could ask questions on the forum and any of you could respond. I began a thread about pledging. Feel free to add to that, suggest other articles, or make your own post. You can do that by logging in and going to the "Forum" page.
Thanks for your patience! I would really like your input on further additions to the site.
Besides being useful for AXE members, this website will hopefully be a new tool for recruiting pledges.
